- Simply unscrew the large wheel on on the boston valves (these will deflate rapidly).
- Get the pump adaptor for the SLT valve and put that in the base without connecting the pump. This will open the valve without you having to pinch it open. You can also use the small adapter for the pressure gauge. This will save you a lot of time 🙂
- After air stops noticably coming out of the base you can connect it up to the deflate side of your pump and then pump the remaining air out of the base.
- Before you start packing the boat away reinsert the pump adaptor into the base, this keeps the valve open allowing any trapped air to escape when packing away.
